"A
story with a fascinating premise and construction, "The Delphinus Chronicles"
was an enjoyable and entertaining experience. For those of you considering the
audiobook, the confluence of Helen Lisanti's narration, sound editing, and
Kennedy Smith's music made the book come alive in a way that seems greater than
the sum of its parts."

Narration by Helen Lisanti
 |
The enchanting
voice of Helen Brindle Lisanti can be heard worldwide in numerous business,
educational, and entertainment productions. A graduate of London’s Guildhall,
Helen has performed in Repertory Theater, several West End plays, and has
been a corporate narrator, children’s storyteller and voice for TV, radio,
and commercials since 1992.
Helen's
husband, John Lisanti, is an extraordinary voice talent in his own right. He opens the book, as well as each chapter of The Delphinus Chronicles. |
Music by Kennedy Smith
 |
Kennedy Smith has written and arranged over twenty
award-winning
musical works despite his remarkable age of eighteen. The Delphinus Chronicles borrows, exclusively, from many of Kennedy's works, including: "Cathedral," "The
Boiling Seas," and "The Hell Fire Symphony."
His hauntingly beautiful
"Ananse," playing now on this page, was adopted as the theme for The
Delphinus Chronicles. Like the Ghanaian spider from which this work
derives its name, Ananse (UH-nawn-see) develops like a web, slowly and
subtly, then bursts into a frenetic hunt. Its themes range from broad
and elegant, to suspenseful and furious. |
