"The Delphinus Chronicles is a well written story, and well narrated, consisting of  all elements that kept me looking for reasons to stop what I needed to do in favor of listening to the audio book.  Computer science, big brother government agencies, fast paced action, and most of all the sound effects. This is my first experience with an audio book, and it will not be my last. I was drawn into the story from the very start and remained till the very end.  For R. G. Roane’s imagination to have crafted this novel is a work of brilliance. The plot twists and turns were captivating, and the action never stopped until the last sentence.  I’ve highly recommended The Delphinus Chronicles"

"This is one of the best audio books I have "experienced".  It kept my interest as both good science fiction and mystery, my two favorite genres.  The narration is excellent and the sound effects well done. I was a little confused by the gothic prologue, and thought I may have been sent the wrong book, but it made sense later.  I recommend it highly to any who are looking for more originality (and morality) in their sci-fi.  You do need a good memory with audio books, and I am one who likes to go back and refresh when reading print, but this one was easy.  It sinks in well, and you are anxious to move on.  Most enjoyable."

"Excellent!  The Delphinus Chronicles is a fantastic tale that draws you in with completely believable characters and well-ordered plot.  Helen Lisanti is a marvelous narrator who puts one in mind of the radio plays of yesteryear.  A thoroughly enjoyable audio book. "

"R. G. Roane’s “The Delphinus Chronicles” is a unique, imaginative tale that is part Science Fiction, part Adventure and part Thriller.   Listeners are taken on an incredible journey that starts with a university’s acquisition of a super computer.  Many might turn away from this audiobook because this type of beginning has been used in many Science Fiction books.  Let me assure you that once the acquisition has been made the story is not typical of anything I have come across before.

I don’t want to give too much of the story away, but the events that take place are cleverly woven together and at times you will think your listening to a Clive Cussler Adventure.  At other times, you feel like you’re in the middle of a Robin Cook Thriller and even later, you will think your listening to a Douglas Preston Suspense novel.  This audiobook is unlike anything we’ve listened to before.  It combines very good story line content with extremely good use of music and supporting sound effects.

Helen Lisanti’s ranking of 4.2 out of 5.0 stars places her in the “Top 15% of our narrator ranking universe.  Her modulation, clarity, character differentiation, emotional range, etc. were uniformly 4.1 to 4.3 stars.  Our ranking database contains 301 narrator rankings across all audiobook genres.  Her overall effort was very commendable.

The ranking of 4.2 stars places The Delphinus Chronicles in the high end of “Very Good” and in the “Top 15% of our “Total Audiobook Ranking.”  Our total audiobook database consists of 1,030 ranked titles.  Comparisons of your ranking score within the “Science Fiction/Adventure” genres places you “At the Top” of the combined categories. "Someone asked me a question when I was at a book store appearance. A woman looked almost dazed as she walked from the audio aisle toward my awaiting display table. "What's new, since most of these audio productions (and books) seem retreads, reissues or sequels. I looked at her with a sly smile " I was amazed with a first effort from Cherry Hill Publishing." She listened with  full attention. Delphinus Chronicles is a techno thriller that takes the  Day of The Dolphin a step further. It is Science Fiction with a twist...the Twilight Zone with a reality check...but you never heard this original before. Helen Brindle Lisanti's narration is crisp and to the point. She highlights the text with audio characterizations  that capture your ears in good storytelling. It is an interesting production to sink your audio teeth into. This fish story is no tall tale and will keep you guessing until the end."

"Delphinus Chronicles is a fun, complex, yet fast read. It will be an enjoyable yarn for anyone from teen age and up, who enjoys mystery, adventure, or science fiction.  Helen  Lisanti is a wonderful reader and carried both narration and a long list of characters well.  The production has music placed strategically at various plot points and chapter endings. A good idea, and the music placements are well-chosen since the plot often carries us back historically to events such as shipwrecks when they were happening.  Again, a thoroughly fun and enjoyable book. I really liked the plot and action. And thanks for the chance to hear it!"

Chris Peters -- Omaha REASON
"A story with a fascinating premise and construction, "The Delphinus Chronicles" was an enjoyable and entertaining experience. For those of you considering the audiobook, the confluence of Helen Lisanti's narration, sound editing, and Kennedy Smith's music made the book come alive in a way that seems greater than the sum of its parts."
